Oatmeal Cookies

This super easy and quick recipe makes amazing oatmeal cookies!

You can use whatever kind of oats you prefer, or even granola if you'd like.
You can add raisins, dark chocolate chips, nuts or anything you have in your pantry.

Warning: they usually don't last more than a couple hours when I make them, my brother and grandma are big fans!

Ingredients

EU
120 gr flour
100 gr sugar
200 gr oats
120 gr melted butter
2 tbsp molasses
2 tbsp water

US
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups oats
1/2 cup melted butter
2 tbsp molasses
2 tbsp water

Preheat your oven to 150°c / 300°f.
In a medium bowl mix together the flour, sugar and oats.
In a seperate bowl mix together sugar, melted butter, molasses and water.
Pour the liquid mixture in with the dry one and mix them together with a spoon.
(Don't worry about overmixing).
Add in any extras (raisins, nuts etc).
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Use a small icecream scoop or tablespoon to scoop out the cookiemix onto your baking tray,
Make sure to leave enough room between the cookies cause they do expand quite a bit.
Bake for 15-25 minutes or until the edges turn slightly brown.
Wait for them to cool a bit before you remove them from the baking tray or they might fall apart.
